Floating homes, the best way to experience living.
My interest in architecture comes from my dad. He has a company which develops floating homes. NOT a boat to live on, but it's a real home which floats on water. There are already many floating homes in Holland and they are looking so awesome. Look for yourself!
I lived in a floating home for more than a year. I had to give it up when I start traveling but I'm 100 percent sure that when I got enough money I will buy my own floating home. It is, in my opinion, the best living experience you can have. It is wonderful to see ducks and swans close to your window and when it's summer all those boats. I was every day so happy to be at home, it kind of feel like vacation. It gives you peace and it's so relaxing. I make already a lot of designs for how my floating home will look like, but before that time I can only dream of it. Take a look at my dad's website, it's amazing what you can build with it. Unfortunately, it's now only in Dutch, but the English website will come soon ;) He will expend his services to the UK, so maybe you will live in one of those amazing homes!
